Devastating thunderstorms...some with reports of tornadoes...affected much of Southern Manitoba on Tuesday. While it will be some time before the full extent of the damage is known, the following is some preliminary information regarding this severe weather outbreak. Tornadoes... Confirmed tornado near Ste. Anne, MB. Confirmed tornado near Dufrost, MB. Numerous reports of funnel clouds/possible tornadoes were received through much of the Red River Valley, and the Parklands area of Western Manitoba. Rainfall - Total rainfall in mm, over the last 24 hours: Stonewall - 255 Winnipeg The Forks - 122 Woodlands - 120 Teulon - 97 Dugald - 90 Elie - 89 Beausejour - 70 Inwood - 61 Dauphin - 57.5 Oakpoint Marine - 56.5 Winnipeg Airport - 50 Many other stations with 30 to 49. Numerous reports of flooding. Winds - Peak wind gusts in km/h, over the last 24 hours: Dand - 130 Deloraine - 130 Souris - 115 Argue - 113 Beausejour - 111 Ninette - 109 Elie - 107 Bede - 107 Waskada - 107 Somerset - 107 Alexander - 106 Sinclair - 106 Forrest - 106 Brandon - 100 Many other stations between 80-99. Weather summary for Quebec issued by Environment Canada at 10:50 a.m. EDT Thursday 11 June 2026. Discussion. Yesterday, Wednesday, June 10, thunderstorms hit southwestern Quebec giving significant rainfall amounts locally. Nearly 50 millimetres of rain were observed in Lachute and in some localities in the Upper Gatineau. These rainfall amounts caused minor water infiltration in homes in Brownsburg-Chatham as well as water pooling on roads in the Outaouais region. Weather summary for Saskatchewan issued by Environment Canada at 3:47 p.m. CST Wednesday 10 June 2026. Discussion. Devastating thunderstorms - some with tornadoes - affected parts of southeastern Saskatchewan on Tuesday. While it will be some time before the full extent of the damage is known, the following is some preliminary information regarding this severe weather outbreak. Tornadoes: Confirmed tornado in Northgate/Oxbow/Alameda area of Saskatchewan with a preliminary rating of EF3 based on major damage to the home at a farmstead. Rainfall/Hail: Golf-ball sized hail was reported in Regina, along with localized flooding. Weyburn and Indian Head both reported about 30 mm of rain. Winds: Wind gusts around 85 km/h were reported in Estevan and Yorkton. Further information will be added as it becomes available.
