Wave height forecasts for Labrador issued by Environment Canada at
6:00 a.m. NDT Thursday 19 March 2026 for today tonight and Friday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 6:00 p.m. NDT.

Forecast values are combined wind wave and swell heights. Highest
waves may be more than twice forecast values. Wave heights may vary
considerably due to shoreline and depth effects.

South Labrador Coast
Mid Labrador Coast
North Labrador Coast.
Mainly ice covered.

South Labrador Sea
Northwest Labrador Sea.
Outside the ice edge seas 3 to 5 metres subsiding to 2 to 3 this
evening and to 1 to 2 Friday morning. Seas subsiding to 1 or less
Friday evening.

East Labrador Sea.
Seas 5 to 7 metres subsiding to 3 to 5 near noon and to 2 to 3 Friday
morning. Seas subsiding to 1 to 2 Friday afternoon.

    • Click on the "Close" button to save the change
  • Keyboard navigation
    • Use the Tab key to move to a button or link
    • Use the Enter key to click on buttons or links
    • Organize shortcuts navigation
      • Use the ↑ Up key to select the link above. If none are selected, it will select the first link.
      • Use the ↓ Down key to select the link below. If none are selected, it will select the last link.
      • Use the Page Up key to move a selection up in the list.
      • Use the Page Down key to move a selection down in the list.
  • Restore default list
